Polyvore’s year-end trends are out, and they’re fascinating. The company’s core is its online community (and set-making tools), but the stats generated by these things are what are drawing eyeballs from many in the fashion space today. I teach at the Academy of Art (yes, I really teach a college class about fashion blogging! Pretty wild that such a thing exists these days…sign of the times), and the social media editor there, Alexandra Thurmond, recently interviewed me about San Francisco fashion and some other fun things. The interview then ended up on Style Bistro, always a great place to be.
