An interview with Michael Kors that ran on 7×7.com, in town recently for the annual San Francisco Ballet Auxiliary Fashion Show.

Interviewing Ann Elston and writing about her project with the Koumama family was a great experience, and I was glad to see this story run on the cover of the San Francisco Chronicle Sunday Style Section earlier this month.

Was thrilled to discover that local designer Nico Lopez is a favorite of Bat for Lashes. Lopez shared the news after I ran into her recently, and I was happy to be able to turn it into a piece for 7×7.com’s Glamwatch.

Though SF Indie Fashion has traditionally covered more women’s fashion than men’s, we’ve making a concerted effort to share the love. After all, there are lots of fashionable guys living in and around San Francisco. Here’s a recent example of guy-minded coverage on the site.

I recently launched a style series showcasing looks from local San Franciscans on SF Indie Fashion. The idea is to communicate San Francisco’s unique sense of style through images trendsetters produce themselves. Refuses to Label is one of the site’s first content partners – very exciting. I love their work and definitely recommend checking them out.
