The 2nd edition of Fashion Unraveled: How to Start and Manage Your own Fashion (or Craft) Design Business is out this month, and I’m happy to have a four-page section on blogging and social media included this time around. Thanks to Jennifer Lynne Matthews for asking me to be a part of this book.

If you’re interested in buying the book, check out the post on SF Indie Fashion for a discount code that’ll save you 35 percent.

Phew! Things have been so busy lately that I’ve been remiss in updating this site with all my clips. Here’s an update on what’s been going on:

- I was recently honored to be selected as a fellow in the Knight Digital Media Center’s Journalism Entrepreneurship program, held in May at the University of Southern California.

- Three times a week, you can find my fashion coverage on 7×7.com’s Glamwatch.

- Once a week, you’ll find my writing about the San Francisco fashion scene on the San Francisco Chronicle’s SF Unzipped blog.

- Every weekday (and some weekends), you’ll find my coverage of the San Francisco independent fashion community on SF Indie Fashion.

- And every single day of the week, you’ll find my travel writing, news, tips and advice on KAYAK’s Kayak Traveler blog.

- I also still occasionally write for KQED’s Spark program and freelance for various other publications, including the San Francisco Chronicle.

- In August, I’ll be leading a seminar with local public relations pro Rena Ramirez of 6th Gen Media to help local designers and small businesses take charge of their marketing, public relations and social media efforts. Stay tuned for more information on that…

I recently started writing for the San Francisco Chronicle’s SF Unzipped blog. Check out my posts there each Friday.

I was recently one of 11 Bay Area fashion bloggers featured in the March issue of 7×7 magazine. It was fun, though I’ll leave the posing and sitting for pictures to the models any day! Still, it was an honor to be featured and a testament to the success of SF Indie Fashion over the last few years.

You can read more of the travel news and advice I write each day on the Kayak Traveler.
